Pyhähippu Ltd.’s booking terms and conditions
Pyhähippu Ltd. complies with the following terms regarding ordering the accommodation services, reservations, and cancellations of ordered services. These terms and conditions will be binding on both parties when the customer has made the reservation. The person making the reservation must be of legal age.
The person making the reservation needs to be at least 18 years old. If part of the group is under 18, they should have written permission from parents, unless they are accompanied with their family members.
Deposit and payment
The booking is confirmed when deposit, which is 30% of total rent, and the booking fee 20 euros has been paid by the due date. Due date of the deposit is 2 weeks from the time of reservation. Rest of the payment must be paid 45 days before the beginning of rental period. If booking is made when there is less than 45 days to the beginning of rental period, there will be only one invoice and it has to be paid immediately. The customer will receive a booking confirmation and a map with the invoice. The customer is responsible of the bank expenses and it should not be taken from the payment of the accommodation.
Online reservations
The customer is responsible for receiving an invoice and booking terms and conditions when making a reservation online. The reservation system will send a confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address the customer provided when registering. The staff of Pyhähippu Ltd. will not send the customer invoices, confirmations, etc., but the customer may print them from the reservation system.
Online reservation payment
At the time of reservation, customer can choose from 2 methods of payment:
online banking
credit card
Deposit is paid immediately through online banking and rest of the payment will be paid 45 days before the start of rental period. Final payment details will be sent to email.
Deposit is paid immediately with credit card and rest of the payment will be paid 45 days before the start of rental period. Final payment details will be sent to email. Or whole amount can be paid with credit card immediately.
If there is less than 45 days to the start of rental period, the system will make only one invoice for the whole amount to be paid immediately with credit card or through online banking.
Payments with cards
Card payments can be performed online safely with the Nets SSL-secured payment form. Our company does not have access to cardholder data, and card information is not stored on our systems. Our online store uses the international Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode authentication services, which verify the identity of the cardholder.
Online payments can be made with Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, and Debit MasterCard payment cards.
Netbanks
Paytrail Oyj (FI2122839) provides netbank related payment transfer services in co-operation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. For consumer the service works exactly the same way as traditional web payments.

Online reservation confirmation
If the reservation is paid (in whole or partly) when making the reservation, the customer must ensure that after the payment, is returned to the confirmation page of the Pyhähippu Ltd reservation system. If the customer is not returned to the website of the vendor after payment, the reservation was not made and the reservation system will not send an e-mail confirmation about the reservation. Pyhähippu Ltd is not responsible for failed reservation, but the customer should contact the vendor immediately to remedy the situation.
Cancellation
All cancellations must be made by e-mail or by post to Pyhähippu Ltd. Cancellation goes into effect when the information of the cancellation has arrived to Pyhähippu Ltd. Please, note that non-payment of the booking fee is not a cancellation.
If the cancellation is made at least 45 days before the start of the rental period, the deposit will be refunded reduced by -10% + 20euros cancellation fee. If the cancellation is made less than 45 days before the rental period, the total rent will be charged. We highly recommend taking travel insurance.
If the cancellation is made during rental period, the customer will not receive a refund. We highly recommend taking travel insurance.
If the customer changes cottages or dates, this will be considered as a cancellation of the previous reservation and a new reservation. If the reservation is changed at the customer´s request, we will charge 20 euros handling fee. Possible changes must be made 45 days before arrival.
In case of force majeure, Pyhähippu Ltd is entitled to cancel the booking, at which time the aim is to offer the customer a comparable accommodation. If the customer does not accept the new cottage, the total amount refunded reduced by -10% + 20euros cancellation fee. If the deposit or final payment is not paid by the due date, Pyhähippu is entitled to cancel the booking.
Check in and –out, cottage keys and stay
The cottage is at client’s use from 16.00 pm on the day of arrival until 12.00 am on the departure day. The key to the cottage has to be collected from Pyhähippu office, which is located in Kultakeronkatu 4 (in the same building with supermarket).
When our office is open, key is collected inside the office.
If customer arrives outside opening hours Pyhähippu’s office is closed, key is collected with a door code from Pyhähippu’s foyer. The door code is send automatically to the customer via e-mail few days prior arrival.
Collecting the key with the door code:
There is a number pad on the right side of our front door. Press the door code and the door will open. There is a shelf on the right side of the foyer where you will find envelope. There is your name and the cabin name on the envelope. Inside the envelope you will find the key and a map to your cabin. The cabin’s address is on the key ring. If you need any help outside the opening hours you will find our phone number on the office front door. Extra key can be collected from Pyhähippu’s office during our opening hours.

When leaving the cottage at the departure day, the keys have to be returned to Pyhähippu office (or alternatively to a mailbox outside Pyhähippu office, incase office is closed at the time of departure). If any keys are lost, there will be an extra payment starting from 450 euros.
As many persons as agreed in the booking confirmation may occupy the cottage. If there will be night guests, it has to be agreed beforehand with Pyhähippu Ltd. Using tents and caravans on the site of the cottage is strongly forbidden. Rented tubs or swimming pools on the site of the cottage is strongly forbidden.
The client is bound to compensate all the damage that is caused to the cottage or movable in the cottage. If the damage is caused of an underage, his or her parents or any adults involved are responsible. In case there is any feedback of complaint relating to the condition or equipment of the cottage, it needs to be reported to Pyhähippu Ltd at the time of rental period. Complaints sent afterwards will not be considered.
In case the client is causing disturbance or dangerous situation and will not change behavior after a warning, Pyhähippu Ltd has the right to cancel the reservation immediately. In this case there is no refund.
Pyhähippu Ltd is not liable for any inconveniences or expenses caused by natural conditions, insects, moles, unexpected weather changes, construction in neighboring plots of land or problems caused by a third party (such as disruptions in the supply of water, electricity, or the TV/Internet network). Pyhähippu Ltd is not liable for any inconveniences or expenses caused by smoking, dust, air or water impurities, decoration- or coating materials, domestic- or natural animals, plants or other allergenic problems for customers.
Silence is from 22:00 to 6:00 in the terraced houses and semidetached houses. Be considerate to your neighbors when you are staying in separate cabins as well.
Final cleaning
Final cleaning is included in the accommodation price. Even though final cleaning is included, we require the cottage to be in a normal state after living in it, that is furniture and other equipment are in their places and intact, the trash is taken out, dirty dishes are in the dishwasher, fridge is empty and rented linen are taken away from beds and put in the laundry bag with towels, new firewood put for the next customer. On the departure day the customer is obligated to make sure that the windows are closed, the heating is on, and the doors are locked. Pyhähippu is not responsible for things left in the cottage.
Smoking is strictly forbidden inside all cottages. If somebody has smoked inside the cottage, we will charge cleaning costs in full.
Linen
The accommodation rent does not include bed linen. The client may bring own bedding along or rent them from Pyhähippu. Linen set includes a sheet, duvet cover, pillow case, face towel, bath towel and bench pad for sauna. The rental includes two rolls of toilet and one roll of kitchen paper. If more is needed, the client is responsible to buy them.
Pets
Check if pets are allowed to your cabin. If pets are not allowed, you can’t bring a pet with you. Pets must be always informed to Pyhähippu and pay a pet fee. The fee depends on the number of pets you are bringing. Fee is 30 €/pet. Owner is always responsible for the damages caused by pet and for extra payments cleaning the textiles if needed. Pets are not allowed on the beds, sofas and armchairs. Remember to clean after your pet, also droppings and pee marks outside. If you need to leave your pet alone inside the cabin, please keep it in a transport cage to prevent any damages. Following these instructions we are able to provide accommodation also to pets and their owners.
Pyhähippu Ltd reserves the right to changes. The prices include value added tax (VAT) according to the current legislation.
