Arrival – Check-in

The cabin is at client’s use from 16.00 pm on the day of arrival until 12.00 am on the departure day. The key to the cabin has to be picked up from Pyhähippu office, which is located in Kultakeronkatu 4 (in the same building with the grocery store K-Market). When our office is open, key is picked up from inside. If our office is closed or you arrive outside opening hours, key is picked up from our foyer with a door code. Door code is sent automatically via email few days prior to your arrival.

Picking up the key with door code:

There is a number pad on the right side of our front door. Press the door code and the door will open. There is a shelf on the right side of the foyer where you will find envelope. Your key will be inside an envelope with your name and the cabin name on it. Inside the envelope you will find the key and a map to your cabin. The cabin’s address is on the key ring. If you need any help outside the opening hours you will find our phone number of the office front door. Extra key can be collected from Pyhähippu’s office during our opening hours.

Staying at the Cabin / Apartment

You will find these in the cabin: general detergents, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, firewood and cleaning equipment. Bedding, such as blankets and pillows. Basic kitchen equipment, dishes, kitchenware. There are 2 rolls of toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towel, more can be bought from the market.

Each cabin has a cabin book filled with information about the cabin. We recommend our guests to read the cabin book.

Accommodation price does not include linen or towels. We require our guests to use linen. Linen sets with towels can be rent from Pyhähippu. Linen set includes sheet, pillow case, duvet cover, face towel, bath towel and bench pad for sauna.

It is prohibited to use tent or camper van on the cabin’s property. Outdoor jacuzzi and hot tubs are forbidden to brought to the cabin’s property due to high water and firewood consumption and they cause erosion when emptied.

Silence is from 22:00 to 6:00 in the terraced houses and semidetached houses.

Check if pets are allowed to your cabin. If pets are not allowed, you can’t bring a pet with you. Pets must be always informed to Pyhähippu and pay a pet fee. The fee depends on the number of pets you are bringing. Owner is always responsible for the damages caused by pet. Pets are not allowed on the beds, sofas and armchairs. Remember to clean after your pet, also droppings and pee marks outside. If you need to leave your pet alone inside the cabin, please keep it in a transport cage to prevent any damages. Following these instructions we are able to provide accommodation also to pets and their owners.

Final cleaning is included in the accommodation price. Even though final cleaning is included, the cabin is expected to be left in good shape. Furniture etc. on their right places unbroken, dishes in the dishwasher, empty fridge, trashes taken out, linen taken out of the bed and put in the laundry bag with towels, new firewood for the next customer. Guest is responsible to check on departure day that all windows are closed, heating is on and door is locked.

Departure – Check-out

Check-out is at noon (12:00) on the day of departure. The guest should check-out and return the keys latest at 12:00 to Pyhähippu’s office or into the mail box on the outside wall of the office. If you leave early before Pyhähippu is open, you can leave the keys to the mail box.

Don’t leave the keys inside the cabin. If the key is lost, we will charge all expenses from the guests (making new locks and keys and other possible expenses, starting from 450 €).

If you have any questions or notice concerning the equipment and/or condition of your accommodation, please contact Pyhähippu immediately. Complaints made later will not be taken into account.
