Arrival and key pickup
The cabin is yours from 4 pm (16:00) on the day of arrival until 12 noon (12:00) on the day of departure. Pick up the key from the Pyhähippu office at Kultakeronkatu 4, in the same building as the K-market grocery store. When the office is open, you collect the key inside. If you arrive when the office is closed, you collect it from our entrance hall with a door code. We email you the door code automatically a few days before you arrive.
Key pickup with a door code:
There is a number pad on the right side of our front door. Enter the door code and the door will open. On the right side of the entrance hall there is a shelf with an envelope that has your name and the cabin name on it. Inside the envelope you will find the key and a map to your cabin. The cabin’s address is on the key ring. If you need help when the office is closed, Pyhähippu’s out-of-hours number is on the office front door. You can collect a second key from the Pyhähippu office when it is open.
Staying at the cabin
The cabin has general detergents, dishwasher detergent, rubbish bags, firewood and cleaning equipment, duvets and pillows, and basic kitchen equipment and tableware. There are 2 rolls of toilet paper and 1 roll of kitchen paper; you can buy more from the shop.

The accommodation price does not include bed linen or towels. Guests are required to use bed linen. You can add bed linen and towels to your booking or order them from our office. A linen set includes a sheet, a duvet cover, a pillowcase, a bath towel, a face towel and a sauna bench cover.
Tents and camper vans are not allowed on the cabin’s property. You may not bring your own or rented hot tubs or pools to the cabin’s property: they use a lot of water and firewood, and emptying them causes erosion.
Check whether pets are allowed in your cabin. If they are not, you can’t bring a pet with you. Always tell Pyhähippu about any pets and pay the pet fee, which depends on the number of pets. The owner is always responsible for any damage caused by a pet. Pets are not allowed on beds, sofas or armchairs. Remember to clean up after your pet, including droppings and urine marks outside. If you need to leave your pet alone in the cabin, please keep it in a transport cage to prevent damage. By following these instructions, you help us keep welcoming pets and their owners.
Final cleaning is included in the accommodation price. Even so, please leave the cabin in good order: furniture and equipment in their places and unbroken, dishes in the dishwasher, the fridge empty, rubbish taken out, linen taken off the beds and put in the laundry bag with the towels, and new firewood ready for the next guests. On your departure day, check that all windows are closed, the heating is on and the door is locked.
Leaving the cabin
Leave the cabin by 12 noon (12:00) on the day of departure and return the keys by then to the Pyhähippu office or to the letterbox on the outside wall of the office. If you leave before the office opens, leave the keys in the letterbox.
Don’t leave the keys inside the cabin. If a key is lost, we charge the guest for all costs (new locks and keys and any other costs, from €450).

If you have questions or notice a problem with the equipment or condition of your cabin, please contact Pyhähippu immediately. Complaints made afterwards will not be taken into account.
