PYHÄHIPPUPYHÄTUNTURIAt the Gate of the Fells
Step out the door and onto the slope – Camp Edmund Polarpeak A10 is genuine ski-in ski-out, right where the Blue Slope curves toward the village. The gateway to Lapland stands open, and Pyhä’s ancient fells and gorges have been waiting for travellers since time began.
Day: Four Guides from Nature
Pyhä-Luosto National Park is more than scenery. It offers four teachers:
Stone teaches grounding. Pyhä’s bedrock formed billions of years ago; beside it, time seems to slow.
The open mire teaches calm. In its wide, quiet landscape nothing asks you to perform.
Old-growth forest teaches perspective. Trees standing for centuries make today’s worries feel small.
The spring teaches flow. Clear water rising from the ground, a reminder of life’s cycle.
For skiers, freeriders and cross-country enthusiasts, Pyhä is just as much a playground: park, powder and trails all close by.
Evening: A Modern Campfire
After the day’s expedition you return to rest – not leaving nature at the door, but bringing it inside. In this compact corner studio every square metre has a purpose, gathering up to four travellers like a campfire:
A kitchen with everything for a warm meal
A private sauna where the day’s moments turn into memories
Soft beds and a calm, warm atmosphere for the night
Distances from the Door

Direct flights connect several European cities to Rovaniemi, and the SkiBus runs to the fell several times a day.
An Explorer’s Campsite
Camp Edmund is named after Canadian explorer Edmund, who stopped on this very spot about a century ago and felt he had found a place where people thrive. The invitation still stands: pause, breathe and let your inner adventurer wake.
By day, nature opens its world.
By night, the world opens its nature.
Pyhä sunua kutsuu yhä, oppiin ikuiseen. (Pyhä still calls you – to eternal learning.)
Completion in December 2026.
