Before you arrive

Add your pet to the booking so we know who is coming. The pet fee depends on the cabin and is paid when you book.

Bring your pet’s own bed or blanket, as beds and sofas are for people. If a cabin has house rules for pets, you will find them on its page.

Out and about with a dog

In the national park dogs always stay on a lead, and everywhere else in Finland from 1 March to 19 August. Dogs are not allowed on the ski slopes, and the cross-country tracks are best left to skiers.

Ploughed roads make good winter walks, and in summer the fell trails are there to share.

Book with a local

We have been welcoming visitors to Pyhä since 1988, and our office is right in the centre at Kultakeronkatu 4. Book directly with us and help is in the same place before and during your stay.

The cabin is yours from 4 pm on the day you arrive until noon on the day you leave, and final cleaning is included.

Arriving

Stop by our office for the keys to most cabins. Arriving after hours? Your key will be waiting in an envelope with your name on it in the office entrance hall, and we email you the code for its door. If your cabin has a code lock, the door code appears in your cabin guide from the day before you arrive.

Airport bus timetables are on the Pyhä website (pyha.fi).
