Cabins in Pyhä centre, Pyhätunturi

In Pyhä centre the fell is right round the corner. Walk to the lifts in the morning, come back to the cabin for lunch, and pick up whatever you forgot from the shop on the way home. Naava, the national park visitor centre, and our own office are close by, so maps and a helping hand are never far away.

We have 54 cabins here. The smallest sleeps 4, the largest 14.

Leave the car parked

Stay in the centre and the car can often sit in the drive all week. The lifts, equipment rental, restaurants and grocery store are close by, and you can walk home after dinner.

Each cabin’s page shows exactly how far it is to places such as the slopes, ski tracks and shop.

Trails from the centre

Start at Naava, the national park visitor centre, for maps and the latest trail news. From there, paths lead to Isokuru, Finland’s deepest gorge, and on to the Pyhänkasteenlampi pond.

In winter there is no route into Isokuru because of avalanche risk, so pick one of the marked winter trails instead.

Book with a local

We have been welcoming visitors to Pyhä since 1988, and our office is right in the centre at Kultakeronkatu 4. Book directly with us and help is in the same place before and during your stay.

The cabin is yours from 4 pm on the day you arrive until noon on the day you leave, and final cleaning is included.

Arriving

Stop by our office for the keys to most cabins. Arriving after hours? Your key will be waiting in an envelope with your name on it in the office entrance hall, and we email you the code for its door. If your cabin has a code lock, the door code appears in your cabin guide from the day before you arrive.
